Our Story:
Tenebrific was founded in January 2024 by writer and narrative designer William Aryitey. Based on prior experiences in and outside the games industry, he wanted to create a development environment revolving around three core principles:
- People: Games start and end with the people behind them. If Tenebrific focuses on nurturing the people who work with us, we'll make the best possible games.
- Creativity: Why make games if we don't care about the core ideas behind them? Each title should be built on a foundation of creativity and passion.
- Sustainable growth: To create a studio with longevity (fingers crossed) a culture of equity, equality, and long-term sustainability needs to be at the heart of any growth.
If we stick to these, we'll create great games people enjoy making and playing.
